14 funny (and slightly mortifying) dog pawrent tales of pure embarrassment: 'My Australian Terrier jumped through the drive-thru window [of] an Einstein's Bagels'

It's such a classic dad thing to blame your flatulence on the dog, but what about when it's the other way around? Our doggos have gotten us into more than a handful of trouble over the years, not because they did so on purpose, but because their excitement or anxiety got us into some silly situations. One time, our dog got so scared by a cat that she shrieked, jumped into our arms, knocked us over, and we hit our heads on the sidewalk. We woke up with our dog licking our face, and a bunch of strangers standing over us. We felt so embarrassed that we didn't even notice the huge bump on our heads.

We're not the only ones who have had some funny (and slightly mortifying) experiences at the expense of our doggos. From inconvenient potty times to sudden escape attempts (including through a drive-thru window), we can't help but laugh at all of these hilarious tails below. They remind us to giggle through the silliness and hope that people will forgive us afterwards. Our doggos don't know any better. Or, at least, we hope they don't.
